You Are Already Set Free!

As a Christian on the journey of life, you are already set free from the life patterns, choices, misbeliefs and assumptions that have been creating your present reality. You no longer have to stay stuck in the places that have held you back or kept you down in the past.

But working that out in your everyday life can be a bit of a challenge, especially on your own, without the kind of support of people who understand what you’re going through and how to change things in your life by identifying and releasing the root issues so they don’t come back again. That is true inner healing, and the rest of your life will reflect your wholeness (or lack thereof).

Today let’s review the freedom in Christ that is your inheritance, then move into how that works itself out in real life, then how I can help you start living a more powerful life every day.

Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!

Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.
– John 8:35-37, New International Version (NIV)

This indicates that you must first move from the position of slave (to sin, wrong beliefs and allegiances, and all that’s holding you back) to a position of sonship, taking your rightful place in the family of God.

This happens through the process known as being born again. Your spiritual nature is reborn and comes alive. It is a higher nature that rules over your natural desires. It connects you with God’s laws of life that sustain you and bring you much good fruit in life. Your spiritual nature considers all the holistic parts of you – emotional, physical, mental, soul & spirit – and sees the best path to take to love, peace and joy.

In your growing spiritual life your perspective is broadened. It no longer operates from a selfish or self-centered perspective as a child. You are filled up with God’s love that can meet all those needs. So you can be free to think and act from an outward view – looking out for others and seeking to bring life and blessings to them, as you have been blessed.

That leads to discipleship as you get to know God and how he has set up life to best be lived in abundance.

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
– John 8:31-33, NIV

God becomes your teacher through his Holy Spirit in you, guiding you into all Truth.

Although your spirit is born anew, your natural earthly, fleshly spirit and tendencies are still with you. They are your perspectives from a self-centered view. Now that nature needs to be transformed and conformed to the laws of the spiritual realm and nature in you.

You are literally already set free in the spiritual realm but it has not yet been received and worked out in the natural earthly realm. That is the journey of being made more perfect and mature. It is the working out of each area of the natural being given to the rule of the spiritual over it.

Sometimes it seems that although you are set free, you are still getting caught up in different traps, addictive behaviors or situations that keep you stuck and frustrated, often in a seemingly endless loop.

So how do you continue to break free in these tougher, deeper-seated patterns of behavior? That is my purpose with this site – to start by giving you insights from a different perspective, to encourage and inform, to remind and enlighten you, and to inspire you to know you are not alone in your challenges in life!

But then, most importantly, I want to connect you with the POWER to transform your life as you work through the issues that come up for you, that need to be lived through spiritual principles rather than the earthly perspective. I offer you my help, support, tools and coaching to break through in whatever places you are held back and repeating sabotaging patterns.

Why am I so passionate about helping set you free from the blocks to living a joy-filled, inspired and purposeful life?

61 The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,

Do you believe God wants to bless YOU?

God, your Creator and your Heavenly Father, has a life of joy and abundance in store for you. He wants to fill up your soul and spirit through the everyday twists and turns of your life with his goodness and love. That’s how we get to know God and restore that amazing and intimate relationship with him – through seeing him at work in the happenings of our everyday life.

Open your heart and take a chance to expand your capacity to receive all the love, the joy, the peace and the blessings God has in store for you – if you’ll only say “Yes! I am ready to receive everything you’ve got for me, Father God!” – then you will release those showers of blessings from heaven to show up in your real life.

Just as Jesus taught us to pray in the Lord’s Prayer: “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” – when you pray that, you are calling everything on earth to line up with the perfect way it is designed to be in the spiritual or heavenly realms. Then you will start experiencing more and more heaven on earth and the heavenly blessings flowing your way constantly.
